Chavez Sheds FAQ
Q: Is delivery included to my area?
A: Delivery and installation is included within 50 miles of Shelton, WA any delivery outside that radius would be charged an additional delivery fee.
Q: What site prep is required?
A: We ask that the site be ready / Level at time of installation. Our sheds can sit directly on the ground, gravel or concrete slab whatever works for your space and budget. If bare ground or gravel, we can make slight adjustments on the day of installation to insure that the shed is level but we do ask you prep the site in advance of our arrival.
Q: How does the shed arrive?
A: We construct our sheds prefab style, meaning we build the sheds at our home and disassemble for delivery and reassemble again on site.
Q: How long does the install take?
A: Depending on the size of the shed it can take a few hours to potentially 2 days to complete.
Q: Will you need electricity?
A: No, all our equipment is battery operated.
Q: How long does it take to get a shed/coop/greenhouse built?
A: Generally, 2-3 weeks it will depend on our current workload.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. For custom sheds we ask for a 50% deposit to start your project and the balance to be paid on installation. For the sheds already built we ask for a 20% deposit and the balance to be paid on installation.
Q: Do you do electrical or interior work?
A: Not currently.
Q. Are you licensed and bonded?
A. No
Q: Do I need a permit?
A: We only construct under the permit size for each county. Please check your local county website for size limitations.
